Resources For Coaches
All coaches are subject to the league's parent code of conduct here. All coaches will need USA Hockey background checks, Safesport and online modules completed for the ages that they will be coaching - seminar is not needed.
All coaches must abide by the league code of conduct policies, as well as enforce the league code of conduct policies with kids, other coaches, parents and team managers. Coaches are representative of the code of conduct of the league and must be on their best behavior. Please no profanity. It is the coach's responsibility to be respectful of all referees, other parents, the other team's players, league staff, and to manage all of their parents and players throughout the game. Players will follow the example that you set. We do not want anyone confronting anyone at the rink, especially after the game. Unless it's an emergency, please wait 24 to 48 hours before reaching out to your team managers if you have a problem. Coaches are responsible for de-escalating all situations, no matter the circumstance. All USA Hockey code of conduct policies must be followed. If a coach or parent has a problem, they must exit the building, wait 24 to 48 hours, and then reach out to their team manager, who will then escalate to the league if necessary.
Verbal abuse of officials, players or parents will not be tolerated. Profanity is also not tolerated by the league. Please treat everyone with respect. Coaches can be suspended by the league.
All rosters are subject to approval by the league.
