Parent Code of Conduct
All parents must abide by the published league and USA Hockey code of conduct policies, as well as educate their kids on the league and USA Hockey code of conduct policies. There is no abuse of officials tolerated by the league. Please do not yell at them. Please do not coach the ice with instructions from the stands. We don't want parents singling out players. Please do not threaten kids, other parents, refs, timekeepers or coaches. Please do not be confrontational with parents in the stands, or in the hallways. Please be respectful of everyone involved. Please offer yourself as a volunteer. We need a clock operator for each game. Please do not disparage the league, or it's members online. If you have concerns, please wait 24 to 48 hours, then reach out to your team manager, who will then escalate to league directors if needed. Please do not turn the spring league into the Superbowl. It's just a fun, constructive place for the kids to play for an hour each week. Violation of league code of conduct policies will be a verbal warning, a written warning, player removal or team removal from the league with no refund. The league will decide the appropriate disciplinary action. The league can choose whichever consequence it deems fitting. We have a 0 tolerance policy. Everyone is agreeing to these policies when they agree to play in the league, regardless if they sign or not. Please get along with other parents, and teams. No profanity. No inappropriate language. No noise makers (drums, etc). No alcohol. Do not bring food into the arena. Don't destroy rink property. No soccer balls or lacrosse balls in the arena. If a coach or parent has a problem, they must wait 24 to 48 hours, and then reach out to their team manager, who will then escalate to the league if necessary
