Tentative Newington Spring Hockey League 2026 Team Schedules (Subject to Change)

Opening Day

Week 1 - Sat 3/28, Sun 3/29

Week 2 - Sat 4/4

Easter Sunday - Off - Sun 4/5

Spring Break - Off - Sat 4/11, Sun 4/12

Week 3 - Sat 4/18, Sun 4/19

Week 4 - Sat 4/25, Sun 4/26

Week 5 - Sat 5/2, Sun 5/3

Week 6 - Sat 5/9

Mother's Day - Off - Sun 5/10

Week 7 - Playoff Week - Sat 5/16, Sun 5/17

Memorial Day Weekend - Off - Sat 5/23, Sun 5/24

Week 8 - Championship Week - Sat 5/30, Sun 5/31

When will our team typically play?

Unless there are schedule conflicts, last year, we did:

> Mites through Pee wees on Saturdays

> Bantams on Sundays (except for Mother’s Day, Easter, etc)

The exact schedule for last year was:

Saturdays

• Half Ice Mite B @ 9:10 am
• Full Ice Mites - Squirt B @ 10:20 am and 11:30 am
• Squirt A @ 12:40 pm and 1:50 pm
• Pee wee B @ 3 pm and 4:10 pm
• Pee wee A @ 5:20 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:40 pm

Sundays

• Bantam A @ 10:20 am and 11:30 am
• Bantam AA @ 1:50 pm and 3 pm

If the majority of the team's roster cannot make a spring hockey game slot (you will have the schedule ahead of time), we can change the slot. Newington Spring Hockey League 2026 is a big scheduling project to make everything work. Some kids have lacrosse, baseball, and soccer as well, so we do our best to make everything work. It's fun for the kids to play once per week to keep fresh.
