Resources For Team Managers

Team managers are the liason between the league directors and parents. All team managers are required to make sure that there are enough players each week, to onboard everyone onto Crossbar, that all players have matching jerseys, with # on the back, and in our league's registry. The league must have the names of all players and coaches who participate in the spring league, with USA hockey #s for everyone. All players must be in our USA Hockey database ahead of time. No sneaking on players. Rosters are transparent to all league officials, referees and opponents. No other players can be recruited after the roster lock date. Team managers must enforce the league code of conduct policies, and discipline both parents and kids if necessary. Team managers must promptly relay league communications, to help with logistics, to make sure everything runs smoothly, to do their best to make sure everyone is having a good experience, to assign a timekeeper each game, to make sure there are enough coaches each week, to make sure that there is a Safesport certified locker room monitor at all times and to be a liaison between the league and the team.
